How to dress, according to your body shape!

Every woman is built differently. You may have plenty of curves in some places, but lack them in others. Maybe you're top heavy or need something to make you look a bit taller. Whatever your fashion challenges are, there are clothing items designed to help you make the most of your figure. Here are some simple ways to dress properly for your body .

Instructions

    • 1.
Check whether you have a round body.
To dress properly for this body type, you will want to accentuate the positive and downplay the negative. Wearing V-necks and low-cut shirts will draw the eye to your best assets. Avoid tight-fitting tops that hug your midsection. If you have nice legs, choose knee-length skirts or capris that show off your stems.
    • 2.
Ask if you're the inverted triangle.

This body type is known for broad shoulders and slim hips. Many are also blessed with long legs and a medium-size bust. You are one of the few that can pull off a pair of hip-hugging jeans. The trick to dressing this body type is to balance out your figure by adding a little bit of fullness to your lower half. Flare skirts or pants are a great choice for the inverted triangle.
    • 3. The Pear Body Shape
Dress the pear body shape (small on top and larger on the bottom) by choosing flowing fabrics and skirts that minimize your hips and behind. Square necklines will help broaden your shoulders, making you appear more proportional.
    • 4. Show off the hourglass figure.
Songs have been sung about your sexy curves, so show them to the world. Your best clothing choices are those that draw attention to your well-defined waist. Wrap blouses and dresses are always a good choice, as are semi-fitted clothes that couture your body.

      Tips and Warnings
  • 1.Every manufacturer is different, so make sure to try everything on before you buy.
    2. Bigger is not better. Avoid large dresses or shirts that drape you in fabric; they can actually can make you look bigger than you are.
    3. Never be afraid of colors or prints. being beautiful is about looking and feeling your best, so if yello makes you happy, then wear it with pride.

  • The Beauty of Bangon Falls

Bangon Falls-(Brgy.Bugtong, Calbayog City, Western Samar)
I was here in May 2010, my first time though it's only a barangay away from my hometown. The 3 km. walk from Brgy. Tinaplacan highway was very tiring but well worth it. You can also ride a habal habal( improvised single motorcycle) going there but it's like riding a roller coaster and the fare is a little bit high so if you are in a group you can walk going there.
You will walk through cascades before you can reach the main falls and you need to be careful, take off your shoes or slippers because it's slippery sometimes. (see what I did here Tongue out Lol)
The main falls is like acircular swimming pool and the water is so refreshing. This is how it looks in summer, but during rainy season people don't come here because it's too dangerous and the water is overflowing.
There are old stories about Bangon Falls. According to my grandmother you cannot measure the depth of the pool. One time there was a big tree fall into the pool after that it disapper into the deep. For the old folks, this falls is mysterious.

Just a few meters from the falls you will find these landcapes.
I was mermerize by its beauty. If you are brave enough you can jump here and see if you can come out lol..Thrilling isn't it? But I prefer not to do  because I don't know how to swim.Embarassed

So if you want to visit Bangon Falls and toher tourist spots in Samar Island you can visit their website at:

Daraitan and Tinipak in Tanay, Rizal

My life in 2007 was full of adventure. I went to many local places in the Philippines including Daraitan and Tinipak in Tanay Rizal. My experience was so extreme that I know I will remember  for the rest of my life. (Please see my blog"my personal videos from Youtube, Tinipak"). Going to Daraitan you need to take a tamaraw FX from Crossing or Cubao going to Tanay. From Tanay Market, you need to take a jeep going to Daraitan for almost 2 hours ride.
This is the first view that struck me when we arrived at Brgy. Daraitan. The wooden bridge with nearby cottages. I was screaming when the jeepney passed the river, I was like Oh My! Is this really happening? When we arrived at the barangay proper we stopped at a house to borrow untensils. Then we started walking through the barangay cemetery and ohh I was so scared.

But upon seeing this beauty took away all my worries. The first thing to do? Picture taking!
After taking so many photos we decided to find a place to sleep. And here it is! see that rock?
And after that of course, swimming!
Daraitan river was awarded as the cleanest river in Region IV and a Finalist in National Competition. It is ideal for trekkers and mountainers. The water is so refreshing and very clean.
After a month I was lucky to go back to Daraitan but our next destination?
    Tinipak!
Going to Tinipak is a big challenge for first timers like us. We need to take an hour walk going to the river. You need to slide on slippery rock going down to the river, but when you reach the place you will be magnified by it's beauty.
(me, wearing a red blouse, I almost fell!)
Tinipak is composed of white rock fomation that looks like gem. We had an overnight sleep inside the cave. I saw monkeys, yes..
    The view was very relaxing.
I know I can't go back here..but I have all the beautiful memories about Daraitan and Tinipak!
    Thank you so much Tinipak!

    Thank you for reading!Laughing

    Christian

He's my first born, my first joy and the apple of my eyes. He was so cute, a happy child, no tantrums at all. He always smiles when he woke up.We named him Niel Christian, "NIEL" from my husband's name and "Christian" from the latin  word"christianus" meaning " follower of Christ". When i was pregnant I pray to God to have a son who is God-fearing,  just, and with a character of a good christian. I don't have any struggles in raising him up though  my husband was always far from home. I am very thankful to have a child like him.  He was only 2 years old when he start singing. He's favorite songs were WESTLIFE"s songs. Can't believe that i'm a fool again.. lol.. was his favorite line. He also loved to dance. He loved coloring, drawing and reading character books.
How times flies.Nine more days to go and he's turning 14. Before, I dreamed of him being an engineer but he said it's a tough course with many mathematics subjects. What about being a dentist son? No ma, a dentist only earn a little.. Goodness, how can you find a job when at the moment you can't even think of what college course to take. Whew!
We always fought of many little things, but when we became christian I saw some changes in his character. It's really important to communicate with our children specially during their teenage years. Both parties should compromise and agree with some rules specially at home. We should be consistent with our rules inside and outside our home. Being a mother whose husband is always away it's really, really tough. But I can see in my son a sign of obedience little by little. I hope as he grow in his christian life, he will  totally transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.  I'm also praying that before he graduated in high school he will decide and desire in his heart to find a course that he will suite his personality and finish his degree with flying colors. As a mother, we need to pray harder for our children. Pray for their lives, health, for their future careers and for their future partners in life. We always love our children no matter what... I love you christian.Happy  14th Birthday!!!

    My Little Girl

My baby. She was born on July 19, 2002 4:30pm @ Caloocan Puericulture Center and Maternity Clinic. Before she was born, I know it's a girl. All the people that I met told me also that it will be a girl. They told me it's the way I look. That very day, I can't  believed that I'm going to deliver my baby.  I felt a little pain, it was not as intense as with my first baby. When I brought to the hospital, I was so irritated with the tricycle driver because of the emergency sound of the tricycle. All the people in the street were looking . When I arrived at the hospital I insist not to sit on the wheelchair. I walked going upstairs when the pain is not  intense. I was interviewed by a duty nurse, checked, and to my surprised she told me to go to the delivery room. Why?. I have no choice but to lie down on the delivery bed. The doctor told me to push, Oh why again? is this really it? . Then the doctor told me to stop! The baby was out! Thanks God!
Then the nurse brought the baby beside me. It's a healthy baby girl.My husband was not at the hospital to buy some baby stuffs.I felt so sleepy. I was transferred to the recovery room, there I slept for 8  hours. My mother was so nervous  because my aunt died of pre-eclampsia 2 months ago. She died with her baby inside.
While I was at the recovery room, ( I stayed for three days)We named her "KRISNIEL GRACE". "KRIS" a female version of my eldest. "NIEL from my husband's name and "Grace" because she is a God's  grace for us. Finally after a day I was able to see my baby. Because of  much excitement I  bumped into the glass window where I can only see her. After I paid the hospital bill that was the time I was able to hold my baby. She was very cute. She always cried at night, maybe because I was in deep sorrow while she was in my womb. But I always pray for her to grow up as what I want her to be.
When she was a toddler she was very witty. She always dance and sing. When I was cooking, she climbed into the metal bar and looked what am I going to cook and sing her favorite "Tomorrow". I know she will grow up an intelligent woman. When she was in grade school she don't have friends. She told me that I'm her best friend. She make cards for me and my husband in any occasion. . I dreamed of her as a very sweet, loving lady when she grow up. God fearing and a lady with a heart to everyone. For now I just want her to enjoy her childhood. To finish her study and become an accountant as I dreamed of myself. She always want to be a chef but I told her:" Later baby when you're already a CPA(Certified Public Accountant)" LOL. Whatever she will wish  to achieve I will support her all the way. That's our major role as parents, to support and  guide our children. I love you baby, You are an angel to me.
